In today’s blog, we share an incredible update from MFF Fellow Morgan on her project, “Under the Shade of a Magnolia Tree.” In July 2020, Morgan shared how she was learning to manage the purchase and rehabilitation of her first investment property. Morgan recognized this project was an opportunity for her to apply the skills she learned through our Standards of Financial Literacy (SFL) curriculum, and when the project was successfully completed, it would offer her the means to become financially independent.
Just months later, the amazing renovation of “Magnolia Manor” is now complete. Watch the video below as Morgan gives us a guided tour through her first investment property.
Morgan proudly shares her completed MFF Fellows Project, the purchase and rehabilitation of her first investment property, Magnolia Manor.
Morgan states, “I am so thankful to the entire MFF team for all their help and support in this project. Working on Magnolia Manor was such a fun learning experience and I cannot wait to apply all that I have learned!”
When students successfully complete MFF’s Standards of Financial Literacy (SFL) curriculum, they are considered an MFF Fellow. As an MFF Fellow, participants are encouraged to continue their personal growth by accessing additional MFF curriculum as well as pursuing opportunities for mentoring, networking, internships and hands-on projects. A Journey to Personal Financial Independence
Standards of Financial Literacy (SFL), MFF’s signature program, supports the concept of personal financial freedom by giving participants of all ages the insight to set goals, track spending, and understand net worth. This online, self-paced program is ideal for individuals and groups alike.
Upon successful completion of SFL’s six-module course, participants become an MFF Fellow. Becoming an MFF Fellow is the ticket to access additional MFF courses and opportunities for mentoring, networking, internships and hands-on projects. These are the opportunities which allow MFF Fellows to continue their journey to personal financial independence.
